A trip to remember....

While in ATL shooting I decided to sit aside a whole day for shooting landscapes. So my girlfriend and I traveled almost 3 hours outside of ATL to hike the mountains at Minnehaha Trails. At first we didn't know exactly where we were; just miles of dirt road, mountains and the lake. But after driving so long I noticed a small sign that pointed to a waterfall. So we pulled over and began the hike.

It's times like this that truly makes me thankful for being able to explore the world. Life is so much bigger than Cleveland, Ohio. I spoke with my uncle when I got back from the hike and he said "your grandfather would've been so proud of you". After doing some research on Minnehaha I learned that blacks weren't allowed anywhere near the area I was in just 15 years ago. I was amazed because the people there were so friendly. But knowing that made me appreciate this trip so much more. Here are a few visuals from the falls. Enjoy

Nick & Shada's Wedding Day

I had the pleasure of shooting my cousin Shada wedding in Atlanta, GA this past week. Nothing but love was in the air the whole day. Honestly, they made my job pretty easy. The best pictures are created when the love for each other is sincere. It was a pretty hot day (about 103 degrees) but that didn't stop this dope couple from creating. Here are a few samples. Enjoy!!!

Little Italy Warehouse

Social media is one of the most powerful tools for entrepreneurs. Back in the day business owners had to pay for advertising. Nowadays, if you utilize the internet correctly your business will thrive. Not only to your clients but to the (potential clients) younger generation. I met a model named Hayley Pettaway on Instagram and we linked to create some dope visuals. Here are a few. Enjoy

We are all EQUAL!!!!!

90% of people die before they figure out why they're on earth. Dr. Rick Warren said "The purpose of your life is far greater then your own personal fulfillment, your peace of mind, or even your happiness". This spoke to me from so many different angles and my trip this past weekend to Chicago confirmed everything.

If you know me you know I have a heart for the homeless. No matter of it's a scam, money being used for the wrong reasons or actually being used correctly; I DON'T CARE. That person asking for the help is in a place of need. Okay...... To get to the point, this past weekend I went to Chicago with my girlfriend and her cousins. Fortunately, I was able to sneak off and do some awesome street photography. Walking the streets of downtown Chicago made me realize how selfish and greedy us humans can actually be.

So this summer I decided to work on a personal project. Lord willing I will be traveling to New York, Atlanta and Florida for a few weddings. My goal is to "maximize the moment" by spreading the word of God, giving as much as I can and capturing great photos like below to raise awareness of for the homeless. ALL IDEAS ARE WELCOME!!!! Please pray for me as I begin my journey....

B&W IS NOT DEAD!!!

Lately I been working with Bedford Board of Education on a few projects. When working with a major business, school district or university they usually know what they want far as photos. I had a consultation with the Community Relations Coordinator and she simply said "we need new photos; something that will attract attention and tell a story".

For some odd reason they're still using photos from 2005 - 2006 school year lol. So I came up with the great idea of B&W photos for their new brochure. Basically, they need something that's fresh and will stand out. Although B&W is not vibrant, when shot correctly the results can be great. In my opinion, it adds edge, character and tells a story in an image. Check it out for yourself

Engaged Cleveland Event

I was doing some research on some local events I could network at and came across Engage Cleveland website. So of course I reached out to the coordinator offering my services and within a few days she contacted me back about shooting a Young Professionals Event. I've been looking to shoot events like this lately simply because of the marketing and potential clientele. It was a success!!!!! Not only did I network with other entrepreneurs, but I met 3 engaged couples looking for a photographer, booked one head shot session and shot some awesome food photography for a local restaurant. The louder you are, the more attention you attract. Here are a few photos from the event. Enjoy
